A Case Study on the Field Application of Parametric Design Technique for Optimization of Outrigger System High-rise Building Structures

아웃리거시스템 초고층 건물의 최적안 도출을 위한 파라메트릭 설계기법의 현업적용 사례연구

Abstract

In this study stiffness and cost optimization were carried out to the 65 stories outrigger system high-rise building structure by applying parametric modeling technique. Here, the parameters were set as locations of outriggers, vertical zoning of concrete strength, and zoning of concrete core wall thickness. As the stiffness optimization results, the location of outrigger is 39th story when outrigger is one, and 25th and 46th stories when outriggers are two. As the outrigger locations were optimized, lateral displacement was decreased maximum 9.5% compared to the original scheme. Cost optimization was carried out by vertical zoning of concrete strength, and as a result cost was decreased maximum 12.5% compared to the original scheme. As another cost optimization, zoning of concrete core wall thickness was carried out in conjunction with vertical zoning of concrete strength, and as a results, cost was decreased maximum 10% compared to the scheme which was only carried out vertical zoning of concrete strength, and maximum 22.4% compared to the original scheme. We expect that design alternatives can be broaden by applying parametric modeling technique to the high-rise building structures.
