Abstract

This study was conducted to find methods of relieving work stress of construction workers effectively for improving productivity and preventing safety accidents in construction sites. For this study, 3 large classifications, 11 medium classifications and 52 small classifications of stress influence factors of construction workers in construction sites were extracted and the current state of work stress of field workers and problems of current stress relieving activities were analyzed to provide basic data to establish stress relieving plans for construction workers. But this study failed to suggest specific methods of relieving work stress of construction workers, since this study aimed to provide basic data regarding stress relieving plans for improving work efficiency of construction workers. Therefore, further research is required to find specific and effective ways of getting rid of work stress of construction workers in future.
