A study on User Effectiveness ans Satisfaction through Developing Smart-device Educational Application -based on Core Nursing Skill

스마트 기기 기반 교육 애플리케이션 학습 효과와 만족도 연구 -핵심 기본 간호 술기를 중심으로

Abstract

In the era of one smartphone per person, smart devices are a good tool for continuous learning. In this study, we developed an augmented reality application that enables nursing students to learn fundamental nursing skills that need memorization using smart devices. This study proved that the application are effective in learning memorization. For the developed fundamental nursing skills application, a pre-post test and satisfaction survey were conducted on 51 students in the 2nd to 3rd year of nursing college. The more stress on learning, the more it was used. The result showed to increase 2.2 score from pretest to post-test. The correlation between the number of uses and the score increase are shown to be positive. Ease of use, suitability for purpose, and immersion of the application had a positive correlation with satisfaction. The results of this study suggested that more digital contents could be developed for fundamental nursing skills education. In addition, it is believed that the results of this study will serve as evidence for developing and applying educational content applications that reflect more expertise in professional education.

현대 사회에서 스마트 기기는 학습 콘텐츠를 지속적으로 할 수 있는 좋은 도구이다. 간호 교육 분야에 암기가 필요한 핵심 기본 간호 술기 교육에 스마트 기기를 기반으로 하여 접근이 용이한 증강현실 애플리케이션을 개발하여 간호 교육 암기 학습에 효과를 입증하였다. 애플리케이션 개발 후 간호대학 2~3학년 51명을 대상으로 사전사후 술기 내용 암기여부 테스트 및 만족도 조사를 실시하였다. 학습에 대한 스트레스가 많을수록 사용을 많이 하였다. 애플리케이션의 암기 학습의 효과를 입증하기 위한 사전사후 테스트는 점수가 약 2.2점 상승되었다. 사용 횟수와 사전 사후 테스트 점수 상승정도가 정(+)의 상관관계를 나타냈다. 사용에 대한 목적 적합성 정도와 몰입도 및 용이성과 만족도는 정(+)의 상관관계가 있음을 보였다. 본 연구의 결과는 핵심 기본 간호 술기 교육 분야에 더 많은 디지털 콘텐츠 교육개발이 가능하며 필요하다는 것을 나타낼 뿐 아니라 나아가 전문 교육 분야에 교육용 콘텐츠 애플리케이션을 개발, 적용이 확대 될 것을 기대한다.
