Abstract

This paper studied the changes of hospitals space, modern public facilities in Busan, through medical, nursing, and hygiene based on social systems. With the introduction of early medical technology, Busan Medical Center has implemented the medical department since 1909, and the medical department was leading to the systematization of treatment until 1925. Meanwhile, until its construction in 1936, there were no wards designed to reflect nursing, and there were many single rooms for the Japanese. Later, with the new construction in 1936, the deployment plan that reflected nursing, nursing, hygiene, and ward planning was decided, and modern hospitals in Busan were born. This can be seen as a sign of harmony in Busan, where there were relatively many Japanese.
