Studies on diagnosis and treatment of tumor . abscess . ulcer in intestinal carbuncle were carried out. The result of studies were summerized as follows: 1. By Nai-Gyung carbuncle-tumor arose from disharmony between nutrient and defensive because of cold, abscess arose from fever victory between cold and fever, ulcer arose from decreasing function of Bi-Kam year. By latter literature Bi-Kam year could be interpreted that spleen stomach was invaded evil influence from unattainable vital force of the earth. 2. Sites of intestinal carbuncle were large intestine, small intestine, intestinal inside or outside between large and small intestine, Intestinal carbuncle was common name of a disease about large intestinal carbuncle, small intestinal carbuncle, pelvic intestinal carbuncle, shrink leg intestinal carbuncle etc.. Pain appeared Chunchu-Hyul in large intestinal carbuncle, and Gwanweon-Hyul in small intestinal carbuncle. 3. On abdominal diagnosis tumor had indistinct pain of Gwanweon Chunchu, edema and heary feeling in low abdomen, no excessive pain by hand press and intestinal boiling sound. In abscess pain descended from right side of low abdomen to huckle, and there was rejection against press, feeling about fever,water sound with flank movement. In ulcer hand approach was difficult since excessive pain diffuse to whole abdomen, and perforating ulcer sometimes caused a serious symptom of umbilical pus. 4. On fecal and urinary diagnosis in tumor urine was yellowish red pollakiuria like gonorrhoea and occasional constipation. In abscess uncomfortable rough pain short red early urine like gonorrhoea appeared during urination, and constipation with stinging pain appeared during defecation. In ulcer red rough pyuria appeared, and stinging and pain with puruloid blood appeared during defecation. 5. On treatment in tumor Daiwhang-Tang Daisenggi-Tang Dangui-Jun by dissipation method, calming down method, interior reliance maturation method, in abscess Mokdan-San Euiiin-Tang Jeokduiin-Tang by the method of water repelling pus discharge, acute breaking, in ulcer Takridanggui-Tang Paljin-Tang Bojungikki-Tang were each used by the method of interior reliance, virulence astriction, supplement vital force and blood, supplement spleen stomach. 6. On treatment patient may have to be careful of excessive moving and suprising anxiety. Abuse of acupuncture and moxibustion made patient worse, misuse of analgesics purgative intestinal irrigation etc. could provoke difficult diagnosis and perforation. So you must treat after exact diagnosis. 7. Prognosis of ease tumor ease abscess ease ulcer and ease astriction was good. If the intestinal carbuncle were not to promote to abscess and ulcer for a long time, its prognosis was bad and it could metastasize to cancer because of dark purple with hardness. So tumor abscess ulcer in intestinal carbuncle may be significant of precancerous lesion.

All of the disease which was referred in ${\ulcorner}$Diagnosis and Treatment of the Woonded, Carbuncle, intestinal infection and acute eczema in Synopsis of Golden Chamber${\lrcorner}$ are belong to surgery. Woonded in this chapter, specially, come under in case occur by metal, and spoke that this thing is metal wounded(金瘡). I am considered by something to use Wangbulryuhaengsan(王不留行散) in wound that is not festered, Baenongtang(排膿湯) and Baenongsan(排膿散) in wound that is festered. Carbuncle is one of Venus festering nature file that happen in skin and muscle because blood does not circulate with flag and part's flare, calorification, pain, puffiness are characteristic. Carbuncle is agreed with concept of inflammation of modern medicine. When treat carbuncle, without using surgery medical treatment, used together internal medicine surgery medical treatment. Intestines carbuncle(腸癰) is come in inflammation in abdominal cavity as kind of inflammation, partiality peritoneum festering disease round present cecum as one of inside carbuncle. I think, when treat intestines carbuncle, in case cold and moisture become stasis and heat is less, Uiibujapaedoksan(薏苡附子敗毒散) can be used. Independently of festering, Daehwangmokdantang(大黃收丹湯) can be used in case heat and extravasated blood become stasis. Saliva ulcer on the vulva is comes in impetigo In Case of young child, and is come in Venus eczema in case is general. Prognosis of saliva ulcer on the vulva widespread thing can treat by arm, leg at Lips region, but it does not treat to grow at Lips region from limb, and treatment uses Hwangryunbun(黃連粉)

In the CFD area, the numerical analysis of high Mach number flow over a blunt-body poses many issues. Various numerical schemes have been developed to cover the issues, but the traditional schemes are still used widely due to the complexities of new schemes and intricacy of modifying the established codes. In the present study, the well-known Roe's FDS based on TVD-MUSCL scheme is used for the solution of very high Mach number three-dimensional flows posing carbuncle and non-physical phenomena in numerical analysis. A parametric study was carried out to account for the effects of the entropy fixing, grid configurations and initial condition. The carbuncle phenomena could be easily overcome by the entropy fixing, and the non-physical solution could be eliminated by the use of the modified initial condition regardless of entropy fixing and grid configurations.

Chapter 10 refers to the cause, symptom, pulse and treatment of Cardialgia(胸痺), Cardiagra(心痛) and Nephric Accumulation(賁豚). Chapter 11 refers to the symptom, pulse and treatment of Abdominal Fuliness(腹滿), Cold Mounting(寒疝) and Abiding Food(宿食). Chapter 12 refers to the symptom and pulse of Accumulation and Mass of the Five Viscera(五臟積聚). Chapter 13 refers to the cause, pathogenesis, symptom, pulse, treatment and prognosis of Terror and Palpitation due to Fright(驚悸), Hematemesis(吐血), Nasal Hemorrhage(?血), Metrorrhagia(下血) and Extravasated Blood(瘀血). Chapter 14 refers to the cause, pathogenesis, symptom, pulse and treatment of Vomiting(嘔吐), Hiccough(?) and Diarrhea(下利). Chapter 15 refers to the cause, pathogenesis, symptom, pulse and treatment of Atrophy of Lung(肺?), Pulmonary Abscess(肺癰), Lung-distention(咳逆上氣) and Phlegm(痰飮). Chapter 16 refers to the cause, pathogenesis, symptom, pulse. treatment and prognosis of Carbuncle(癰腫), Intestines Carbuncle(腸癰), Wound(金瘡) and Acute Eczema(侵淫瘡). There have been abundant investigations in China. But we couldn't find a clear result yet, and they were written in archaic texts and colloquial Chinese, therefore it is needed to be translated into Korean. And there was only one inaccurate translation with insufficient annotation. So I hope this study will be useful to develope Oriental Medical Diagnostics.

The numerical simulation of shock waves in supersonic flows is challenging because of several instabilities which can affect the solution. Among them, the carbuncle phenomenon can introduce nonphysical perturbations in captured shock waves. In the present work, a hybrid numerical flux is proposed for the evaluation of the convective fluxes that avoids carbuncle and keeps high-accuracy on shocks and boundary layers. In particular, the proposed flux is a combination between an upwind approximate Riemann problem solver and the Local Lax-Friedrichs scheme. A simple strategy to mix the two fluxes is proposed and tested in the framework of a discontinuous Galerkin discretisation. The approach is investigated on the subsonic flow in a channel, on the supersonic flow around a cylinder, on the supersonic flow on a flat plate and on the flow in a overexpanded rocket nozzle.

This report describes 94 prescriptions related to the use of Radix Angelicae Dahuricae main bl ended from Donguibogam. The following conclusions were reached through investigations on the prescriptions that use Radix Angelicae Dahuricae as a key component. 11.7% of wind. 10.6% of carbuncle and deep-rooted carbuncle. recorded the largest number of clinical frequency of the prescriptions in therapeutic use when Radix Angelicae Dahuricae was ta ken as a monarch drug in prescriptions, Prescriptions that utilize Radix Angelicae Dahuricae as t he main component are used in the treatment of apoplexy and carbuncle and deep-rooted carbuncle. headache. wound and they are also used for treating 26 different types of diseases. The prescriptions are compounded with Radix Angelicae Dahuricae as a monarch drug can ap ply to apoplexy, exogenous febrile disease, invasion by wind. wind-cold pathogen, wind-heat path ogen. epidemic disease, pestilence. bruise, bites, deficiency of liver and kidney, deficiency, phlegm-fire, phlegm-heat. The dosage of Radix Angelicae Dahuricae is 0.37g to 7.5g, however 3.75g has be en taken the most for clinical application. The function of Radix Angelicae Dahuricae is to expelling Wind and relieving pain, to expelling wound and forming muscle. to astrict and neutralizing poison. to expelling wind and to getting through body hole. to emit and relieving pain from the combination of drugs and prescriptions.

Ulmus parvifolia has been used as a traditional folk medicine to treat the carbuncle in deep skin. In this study, the effect of water extract of root bark of Ulmus parvifolia (WUP) on the carbuncle, pain, inflammation and hypersensitivity was evaluated in animal models. The administration of WUP significantly decreased the size of Staphylococcus aureus ($10^8$ cells/mouse)-induced carbuncle, and also exhibited analgesic activity in the HAc-induced writhing syndrome at doses of 50-500 mg/kg. It also showed significant anti-inflammatory activity in the carageenin- and complete Freund's adjuvant-induced inflammation. In the histamine-induced anaphylaxis, it decreased the percent of mortality by protecting mice treated with Bordetella pertussis. In the immune responses in the mice sensitized and challenged with sheep red blood cells, the Arthus reaction determined by swelling of foot pad at 4 h after challenge, HA titer, HY titer and PFC which can be used to evaluate the humoral immune response were significantly suppressed by oral administration of WUP at doses of 100 and 200mg/kg. The cellular immune responses in the same mice such as delayed type hypersensitivity determined by swelling of foot pad at 24 h after challenge and RFC were also significantly suppressed in the same manner.

Objective: Under recognition of the similarity between carbuncle in Oriental medicine and inflammatory disease, NeiShuHuangLianJang(N.H.) has been used as an antiphlogistic agent. The present reports shows the anti-inflammatory effects of N.H. Method: Experimental animals made use of 4-5 weeks age(weight 20-25g) ICR(male)mouse. They were farmed individually in a temperature($22{\pm}0.5{\circ}$) and light(06:00 to 18:00 h) controlled room with free access to water and food. The N.H.(1.0g／kg, 3.0g／kg) extracted from NeiShuHuangLianTang were administered intragastrically prior to LPS I.P injection. we measured WBC count, IL-6 level in plasma and TNF-${\alpha}$ level in plasma. Result : 1. N.H. suppressed inflammatory reaction induced by LPS. 2. N.H. suppressed WBC count in inflammatory reaction induced by LPS. 3. N.H. suppressed 1L-6 level in inflammatory reaction induced by LPS. According to above experiments, N.H. was improved its suppression effect against the inflammatory reaction through WBC count and IL-6 level. So N.H. which is used for the inflammatory disease(carbuncle) in Oriental Medicine is assumed to have a curative effects against this disease by controlling WBC count and IL-6 level in plasma.

A combined procedure for two-dimensional Delaunay mesh generation algorithm and an adaptive remeshing technique with higher-order compressible flow solver is presented. A pseudo-code procedure is described for the adaptive remeshing technique. The flux-difference splitting scheme with a modified multidimensional dissipation for high-speed compressible flow analysis on unstructured meshes is proposed. The scheme eliminates nonphysical flow solutions such as the spurious bump of the carbuncle phenomenon observed from the bow shock of the flow over a blunt body and the oscillation in the odd-even grid perturbation in a straight duct for the Quirk's odd-even decoupling test. The proposed scheme is further extended to achieve higher-order spatial and temporal solution accuracy. The performance of the combined procedure is evaluated on unstructured triangular meshes by solving several steady-state and transient high-speed compressible flow problems.
