On-Line Induction of Fermentation with recombinant cells: Optimization and Data Acquision

  • λP$_{L}$ promoter와 Infiuenza virus의 NS1 Structural gene이 있는 pASl EH801 plasmid를 E. coli host N5' 과 AR120에 각각 transformation하여 온도와 nalidixic acid로 각각 induction 하여 보았다 N5151의 경우, O.D.600 1.2에서 42$^{\circ}C$로 induction하였을 때 maximum productivity를 보였으며 AR120의 경우는 O. D. 600 1.2, 37$^{\circ}C$, 40$\mu\textrm{g}$ nalidixic acid/$m\ell$ induction 하였을 때 maximum yield를 보여주었다. 이때 pH, DO, temperature, $O_2$%, $CO_2$%를 A/D converter통해 computer에 연결시켜 data acquision을 한 결과, 접종 후 ON-line induction이 가능함을 알 수 있었다.

  • The increasing concern over radiation exposure in the nuclear industry has fostered agrressive efforts to reduce the levels of radiation exposure. One area of the effot to reduce the radiation exposure is the development of a remote radiation monitoring system. Remote radiation monitoring can serve many benificaial functions reduce exposure to radiation by plant personnel, impruve the quality of the data that is collected and recognize the radiation environment easily. Radiation mapping system gives a good information that represents radiation level distribution. The system we have developed consists of a data acquistion parts, mobile robot and remote control parts. Data acquisition parts consist of radiation detection module and vision acquistion module which collect radiation data, visiion data and distance information. In remote control parts, the acquision data are processed and displayed. We have constructed radiation mapping image by overlaying the vision and radiation data. The radiation mapping techniques for displaying the results of the survey in an easily comprehendable form will facilitate a better understanding of the radiation environment in the facility. This system can reduce workers radiation exposure and aid to help work plan, so it has significant benifits in cost and safety.

  • In order to develop PAFC stack technology using 2.000$cm^3$ electrode-matrix, 10kW stack consisted of 63 single cell was fabricated and operated. The operation installation, and control and data acquision system for the 10kW PAFC stack were designed and equipped. The stack showed the performance of 10kW (275A at 36.5V) and uniform distribution of temperature and voltage between the cells.

  • As the usage of electron electricity is rapidly increasing, corresponding accidents also take place proportionately. Although various losses occur very often because of senility of system and maintenance, only a earth leakage current breaker by a leakage current alert is used. That means it is always fraught with dander. This paper, we propose to measure and cut a leakage current and method of taking a measurement current short circuit. Besides, through keeping watch communication with server, prevent electric loss and mishap in advance.

  • The purpose of this study is to design a computerized acquisition system in order to eliminate problems of manual system providing that new system will promise to have the library offereing better services. The next aim is to suggest library administrators the rationale of converting their manual system into computerized system and to provide librarians "know how" as well. The computerized acquisition system designed data-files and subsystems basing upon on-line processing mode. The study suggests the results obtained from computerized acquision procedures.

Study on Torque precision measuring System using Curve Fitting Algorithm (커브피팅 알고리즘이 적용된 토크 정밀 측정 시스템 개발에 관한 연구)

  • This paper is the study on the development of a torque precision measuring system using the curve fitting algorithm. This system can be divided into the hardware part and the software part. The hardware part consists of the main base board, the DAQ(Data Aquisition) board and Calibration parts. The software part consists of the software filter module and the curve fitting algorithm module. We have tested the torque transducer including the strain gauge for 200 Nm range and have analyzed the data acquired with the curve fitting algorithm by using this system. The DAQ board converts the electric signal induced by the transducer to the digital value precisely by using the shunt calibration procedure. The main board including the curve fitting algorithm calculates the exact digital torque value by using the digital value from the DAQ board. In this study, we confirmed that the result of the appropriate high-order power-series polynomial function is more accurate than the result of the low-order power-series polynomial through the system.
