The Digital Drawing Production Using Digital Camera (디지털 카메라를 이용한 수치도면작성)

  • As for the former analogue method of photogrammetry, We have obtained final digital drawing by creating the stereo model from overlapped images through orientation process using plotting instrument and processing restitution procedure. However, digital photogrammetry batch processes such using small computer system thus We make an attempt automatization of the procedures. And without the production of stereo model, We could obtain 3D digital data through analysis method. Therefore, an objective of this study was to implement a surveying system that could 3D surveying positions using the digital image to reduce limitations of control point surveying and photographing conditions more efficiently to produce digital drawing. By the result, photogrammetry can practice and make out digital drawing to a computer by digital camera of a comparative low-cost. Small scale area can become practical use to drawing production etc. for facilities management because area can make out digital drawing economically than general surveying.

  • Light Drawing is a photographic technique which exposures are made at night or in a darkened room usually by moving a hand-held light source[1]. Due to the limitations of equipment and environment, users having difficulty in drawing a picture in 3D space. If user take a light drawing, they need a camera that have function and darkened environment. Alternative solution is that we can make a light drawing picture by using the computer drawing tool as in Photoshop. Nevertheless, this solution will let the User lose their interest in drawing because this solution cannot synchronize between the real action of human hand motion and the electronic input devices such as mouse and keyboard. This paper proposed a digital content that can make light drawing easier. We used a digital content that will facility Light Drawing easier. We can measure the light spot position by using the stereo camera. Based on the measured position of the light spot, we reproduce light drawing in virtual space by using drawing effect method.

  • This paper proposed to digital watermarking technique for architectural drawing using LINES and ARCs based on vertex in CAD system to prevent infringement of copyright from unlawfulness reproductions and distribution. After extract LINES and ARCs from designed drawing, we embed watermarks using adaptive algorithm in each characteristics. Watermarks robust to various attacks like as geometrical transformation as being embedded in LINE's length and ARC's angle information. Also, the proposed method satisfies enough transparency about watermarked drawing because have suitable embedding strength to each component. By experimental result, we confirmed robustness and invisibility of embedded watermarks in several conversions of architectural design drawing.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore whether PPAT drawing using an application can be developed on digital devices for game addicts. The PPAT drawing test is useful and reliable for verifying problem-solving skills in how people pick apples. As a result of this study, the over-immersion group scored lower than the average user group in the "problem Solving" category of the PPAT drawing test using the PPAT drawing applicaion on digital devices, and expressed by not reaching for apples, or by picking apples without reasonable support. The findings in this study suggest that the PPAT drawing test application on digital devices has significantly demonstrated its original purpose of 'problem resolution', as well as future psychotherapeutic interventions for Internet over-immersion subjects as well as users who are familiar with digital devices.

  • There has been more increased the development of 3D technique since many 3D contents of 3D graphic model, 3D mobile/computer game, and 3D CAD have been serviced in Web or industry fields. Therefore, the watermarking system is more required to protect the copyright for 3D contents. Currently there has been researched about the watermarking for 3D graphic model of mesh or NURBS. However, watermarking technique based on CAD design drawing leaves something to be desired yet. This paper proposed the watermarking technique for 3D CAD design drawing using Line and Arc components. After drawing out Line and Arc components from designed drawing, we embed the watermark into both the length of Line component and the radius of Arc component. Experimental results verified that the proposed algorithm satisfies the transparency about watermarked drawing and also has the robustness against several attacks by using public CAD tool.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose 3D art make-up design process by reproducing real objects through preliminary digital drawing with Photoshop (Photo Shop CS4.0, Adobe, USA) and using special make-up that has never been done previously, and produce creative problem solving plan to make concrete expanding thoughts and ideas. As for this study method, this study was composed of preliminary study, literature study by book examination and positive study on design process that performed preparatory work and reproduced real objects. Real case study by art make-up design process can improve effective design expressing ability by utilizing special make-up, diversify techniques, extend expression areas by materials, and create unique design. In addition, preliminary work by digital drawing, a process to predict real object work in advance, could reduce time and cost while improving work skill for work production, raise design accuracy and make easy the modification of idea. This study is anticipated to activate digital make-up by various digital techniques including Photoshop.

Adaptive Digital Watermarking for Copyright Protection of CAD Data

  • To protect against unlawful reproductions and distribution, the current paper proposes a digital watermarking technique for architectural drawings produced using a CAD system. First, the POLYLINEs are extracted from the drawing; then, an adaptive algorithm is used to embed a watermark in the characteristics of each POLYLINE. Next, the CIRCLEs are embedded using an adaptive watermarking algorithm related to the radius of circle from drawing. The proposed watermarking scheme is robust to various attacks, such as the geometrical transformation. Additionally, the proposed method satisfies the requirement of transparency for CAD program. It used AutoCAD 2002, which is commonly used as a CAD program for experiments. Experimental results confirmed the robustness and invisibility of the embedded watermarks in several conversions of an architectural drawing.

  • Various works of art in a convergent form using new media technology Reflecting the attempted trend, this paper examines the footsteps of public art and Looking at the examples of works using new media art as an expression method of public art works, I suggest vr drawing as a new tool for public media art. The drawing performance using the vr drawing tool and the case of the vr realistic performance scarecrow, The vr drawing tool can infer the possibility of practical application as a new expression method of public art. This study uses a vr drawing tool among new media technologies in the future. It is believed that it will be a prior study that will help prospective creators.   • In GIS area, many line simplification algorithms are studied among generalization methods used for making the building data in the form of digital map from the original line data. On the other hand, there are few studies on the simplification algorithm considering the drawing rules of the digital map in Korea. In this paper, the line simplification algorithm based on the drawing rules is proposed as the methodology to create or update the building data of digital map by extracting the building outline from the CAD data used in construction. To confirm the usefulness of the algorithm, this algorithm and four other effective and general line simplification algorithms (e.g., Douglas-Peucker algorithm) are applied to the same building outlines. Then, the five algorithms are compared on five criteria, the satisfaction degree of the drawing rules, shape similarity, the change rate of the number of points, total length of lines, and the area of polygon. As a result, the proposed algorithm shows the 100% of satisfaction degree to the drawing rules. Also, there is little loss in four other mentioned criteria. Thus, the proposed algorithm in this paper is judged to be effective in updating the building data in digital map with construction drawings.
