Existing environmental measuring devices mainly focus on electromagnetic wave and eco-friendly product certification and durability test, and sensor reliability verification and verification of measurement data are conducted mainly through sensor performance evaluation through type approval and registration, acceptance test, initial calibration, and periodic test. This platform has established an ICT-based environmental monitoring sensor reliability verification system that supports not only performance evaluation for each target sensor, but also a verification system for sensor data reliability. A sensor board to collect sensor data for environmental information was produced, and a sensor and data reliability evaluation and verification service system was standardized. In addition, to evaluate and verify the reliability of sensor data based on ICT, a sensor data platform monitoring prototype using LoRa communication was produced, and the test was conducted in smart cities. To analyze the data received through the system, an optimization algorithm was developed using machine learning. Through this, a sensor big data analysis system is established for reliability verification, and the foundation for an integrated evaluation and verification system is provide.
In recent years, in the domestic industry, personal damage has occurred due to sensor malfunction and the emission of harmful gases. But there is a limit to the reliability verification of sensor data because the evaluation of environmental sensors is focused on durability and risk tests. This platform designed a sensor board that measures 10 major substances and a performance verification system for each sensor. In addition, the data collected by the sensor board was transferred to the server for data reliability evaluation and verification using LoRa communication, and a prototype of the sensor data platform was produced to monitor the transferred data. And the collected data is analyzed and predicted by using machine learning techniques.

Virtual testing is considered a major requirement for the safety verification of autonomous driving functions. For virtual testing, both the autonomous vehicle and the driving environment should be modeled appropriately. In particular, a realistic modeling of the perception sensor system such as the one having a camera and radar is important. However, research on modeling to consistently generate realistic perception results is lacking. Therefore, this paper presents a sensor modeling method to provide realistic object detection results in a MILS (Model in the Loop Simulation) environment. First, the key parameters for modeling are defined, and the object detection characteristics of actual cameras and radar sensors are analyzed. Then, the detection characteristics of a sensor modeled in a simulation environment, based on the analysis results, are validated through a correlation coefficient analysis that considers an actual sensor.
The world is in the process of a structural change related to ICT convergence knowledge industries. ICT is leading to the creation of new products and services, and is making our lives more convenient, safer, and more efficient. In advanced countries, many studies have been conducted with the goal of developing new business models converged with ICT, and this is also the case in the food industry. Korea possesses world-leading ICT, and if this ICT is applied to the food industry, a world-class new business model can be developed. The u-Food System, which is in the process of development in Korea, is a next-generation food system that can allow food providers, consumers, and distributors to access various types of information about food products, including traceability, distribution, safety, quality, and freshness, and manage this information. It is a future food system that converges ICT, biotechnology and sensing technology with food. Based on the u-Food System, this paper will introduce the status of current smart quality distribution technologies that converge ICT (such as sensor tag, sensor network, LBS, GIS, and CDMA) with food technologies (such as traceability, quality, distribution management) to manage the safety and quality of fresh food in the distribution process.
In this study, an ICT-based underwater communication monitoring device for underwater structures is implemented based on lifting fixture that transport human bodies found on the seabed to sea level. The lifting fixture is packaged with a retback, sideback, and cartridge that injects air. Monitoring systems are developed in a mobile manner in a portable structure. The underwater ultrasonic sensor signal is supplied using a USB port, and the O/S consists of Linux. For the underwater communication dong test, a measurement test was conducted in real time from 6m to 40m in depth on the east coast. The ultrasonic sound sensor is converted to 2,400 bps to verify the transmission error according to the duality. The communication speed of sensor to monitoring is 115,200 bps, and the speed of communication from controller to receiver is 2,400 bps. In the commercialization stage of the lifting device, it is easy to develop a low-end type and the compatibility is wide.

Recently, the digital healthcare technologies including non-invasive diagnostics based on Internet of Things (IOT) are getting attention. Human exhaled breath contains a variety of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which can provide information of malfunctions of the body and presence of a specific disease. Detection of VOCs in exhaled breath using gas sensors are easy to use, safe, and cost-effective. However, accurate diagnosis of diseases is challenging because changes in concentration of VOCs are extremely small and lots of body factors directly or indirectly influence to the conditions. To overcome the limitations, highly selective nanosensors and artificial intelligent electronic nose (E-nose) systems have been mainly researched in recent decades. This review provides brief reviews of the recent studies for diabetes and lung cancer diagnosis using nanosensors and E-nose systems.
This paper proposes a vision-based underwater laser scanner with separate structures for an underwater camera and a line laser projector. Because the two devices can be adaptively placed regardless of the features of the unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV), the scanner has significant advantages in relation to its availability and flexibility. Position calibration between the underwater camera and laser projector guarantees a 3D measuring performance with high accuracy. To verify the proposed underwater laser scanner, a test-bed system was manufactured, which consisted of the laser projector, camera, Pan&Tilt, and Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS). A camera-laser calibration test and simple 3D reconstruction test were performed in a water tank and the experimental results are reported.

The aim of this paper is Although a large amount of sensor data is generated in the manufacturing process of a manufacturing company and the necessity of utilizing sensor data is felt, there is a real difficulty in collecting a large amount of sensor data and introducing analysis / service. Using W3C Web document standard format, XML based technology, it collects data to provide production status and equipment status information, and researches middleware for sensor data processing that user can analyze.
A readout circuit for a tactile sensor pad based on force sensing resistors was proposed, which was composed of an analog signal conditioning circuit and a digital circuit with a microcontroller. The conventional signal conditioning circuit has a dc offset voltage in the output signal, which results from the reference voltage applied to the FSR devices. The offset voltage reduces the dynamic range of the circuit and makes it difficult to operate the circuit under a low voltage power supply. In the proposed signal conditioning circuit, the dc offset voltage was removed completely. The microcontroller with A/D converter and D/A converter was used to enlarge the measurement range of pressure. For this, the microcontroller adjusts the FSR reference voltage according to the resistance magnitude of FSR under pressure. The operation of the proposed readout circuit which was connected to a tactile sensor pad with $5{\times}10$ FSR array was verified experimentally. The experimental results show the proposed readout circuit has the wider measurement range of pressure than the conventional circuit. The proposed circuit is suitable for low voltage and low power applications.
The management of sensor information requires the functions for registering, modifying and deleting rapidly sensor information about various many sensors. In this research, Celery and MongoDB are used for developing a sensory data management system. Celery supplies a queue structure based on asynchronous communication in Python. Celery is a distributed simple job-queue but reliable distributed system suitable for processing large message. MongoDB is a NoSQL database that is capable of managing various informal information. In this experiment, we have checked that variety of sensor information can be processed with this system in a IoT environment. To improve the performance for handling a message with sensory data, this system will be deployed in the edge of a cloud infrastructure.
