We obtain generalized versions of the Fan-Browder fixed point theorem for G-convex spaces. We define the class B of better admissible multimaps on G-convex spaces and show that any closed compact map in b fro ma locally G-convex uniform space into itself has a fixed point.

In recent years, we use overdriving scheme to improve the response time of the liquid crystal. Since conventional overdriving scheme uses memory to perform ideal processing, it is desired to reduce system cost by decreasing the data stored in these SDRAMs. As a general compression method, quantization, sub-sampling and Block Truncation Coding ( BTC ) are used, which process data in block base and cause block effect. So we proposed new data compression method by color space conversion. Because this method compresses luminance and chrominance signal by different ratio, it can efficiently reduce error of block effect in decompression image.

최근 검색 태스크에서는 좋은 negative sample을 얻는 방법론들이 적용되어 큰 성능 향상을 이뤘다. 하지만 좋은 negative sample 대부분의 방법들은 큰 계산 비용이 든다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 계산 비용이 적고 효과적인 negative sample을 얻기 위해 Mixed Gaussian Recurrent Chain (MGRC) sampling을 사용하여 feature 공간상에서 의미론적으로 유사한 feature를 얻고 이를 negative sample로 활용하여 기존 baseline 모델보다 좋은 성능을 얻었다.

In this paper, the active backlight control technology with data processing algorithm was developed in order to improve image quality for IPS-mode LCD-TV applications. The image blinking problem caused by repeatedly abrupt change of the backlight luminance was solved by algorithms-Fba(Flexible Boundary algorithm) and Cfa(Cumulative Feedback algorithm)-and the optimized number and space of backlight dimming steps based on perception. In the IPS-mode 42" TFT-LCD panel, the dynamic contrast ratio can be more than twice the typical level by means of lower block luminance and higher white luminance. Additionally, Power consumption and LCD temperature was decreased.

The influences of silicon and MgO seed particle on the reconstruction characteristics of MgO protective layer were investigated to clarify the mechanism of reconstruction and exaggerated grain growth (EGG) in AC-PDP. The reconstruction and EGG are closely correlated with the driving force for nucleation and growth, interface energy and initial size distribution of MgO protective layer in plasma space during discharge in AC-PDP.

Recently, as a result of the progress in power electronics and microelectronics, the inverter technology is quickly developing. Also, by using the fast microprocessor and small-sized switching devices, such as IPM, the Inverter becomes more compact and cheap. This paper proposes an inexpensive and small-sized vector controller for induction motors using 87C196MC and IPM. The proposed inverter contributes further space-saving, and high performance features to motor drives system.

In this paper we examine the effects of the required portions of guard timing spaces in a MAC frame of ETSI BRAN HIPERLAN/2 system such as inter-mobile guard timing space in UL(Up Link) duration, inter-RCH(Random CHannel) guard timing space, sector switch guard timing space. In particular, we calculate the number of OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) symbols required for these guard timing spaces in a MAC frame. We them evaluate the throughput of HIPERLAN/2 system as we vary parameter such as the guard time values defined in [2], the number of DLCCs(Data Link Control Connections), and the number of RCHs. Finally we show by numerical results that the portions for the 새심 summation of required guard timing spaces in a MAC frame are not negligible, and that they should be properly considered when trying to evaluate the performance of MAC protocol of HIPERLAN/2 system and also when determining the number of RCHs as well as the number of DLCCs in UL PDU trains at an AP/CC(Access Point/Central Controller).

Recently, as a result of the progress in power electronics and magnet technology, the applications of inverter fed BLDC Motor have increased for industry and home appliance. Also because of the high efficiency, good acoustic noise characteristic, BLDC Motor applications are growing. However, BLDC Motor requires position sensor, which has many problems such as high cost, more space and difficult to install. Therefore, sensorless control algorithm is being studied. In this paper, sensorless algorithm for interior permanent magnet BLOC motor adaptable for home appliance is proposed. The maximum torque per amp operation with advance angle considering load torque and speed was simulated and verified through the experiment.
