Analysis of a shimming aircraft NLG controlled by the modified simple adaptive control

  • The aircraft nose landing gear (NLG) can suffer of an unstable vibration called shimmy that is responsible of discomfort and of fatigue stress on the gear strut components. An adaptive controller is proposed in this paper to cope with the aforementioned problem. It is based on a method called Modified Simple Adaptive control (MSAC) which is able of governing the NLG motion by using a feedback signal that relies on just one output of the plant. The MSAC only asks for the passivity of the controlled plant. With this aim, a parallel feedforward compensator is employed in this work to let the system satisfies the almost strictly passivity (ASP) requirements. The nonlinear equations that govern the aircraft NLG shimmy vibration behavior are used to analyzed the controlled system transient response undergoing an initial disturbance and taking into account different taxiing speed values.

  • The Nose Landing Gear(NLG) of Rotary Wing Aircraft is an essential equipment in Landing System for pilot to perform a flight mission. It supports the fuselage at ground and absorbs the impact from the ground when landing, thereby, these functions sustain operational capability for pilot and crew. However, the A aircraft caused stick-slip behavior when it was stationed on the ground. Therefore, this paper summarizes pilot comment in operation which are classified by cause of occurrence and the troubleshooting process about each comment. It also describes design improvements which was derived from troubleshooting and suggests verification results of flight test.

Hypernetwork-based Natural Language Sentence Generation by Word Relation Pattern Learning (단어 간 관계 패턴 학습을 통한 하이퍼네트워크 기반 자연 언어 문장 생성)

  • We introduce a natural language sentence generation (NLG) method based on learning of word-association patterns. Existing NLG methods assume the inherent grammar rules or use template based method. Contrary to the existing NLG methods, the presented method learns the words-association patterns using only the co-occurrence of words without additional information such as tagging. We employ the hypernetwork method to analyze and represent the words-association patterns. As training going on, the model complexity is increased. After completing each training phase, natural language sentences are generated using the learned hyperedges. The number of grammatically plausible sentences increases after each training phase. We confirm that the proposed method has a potential for learning grammatical properties of training corpuses by comparing the diversity of grammatical rules of training corpuses and the generated sentences.

  • This paper is a study on constructing a natural language interface to database, concentrating on generating textual answers. TGEN, a system that generates textual answer from query result tables is presented. The TGEN architecture guarantees its portability across domains. A combination of a frame-based approach and natural language generation techniques in the TGEN provides text fluency and text flexibility. The implementation result shows that this approach is feasible while a deep NLG approach is still far to be reached.

  • Among artificial intelligence convergence technologies, Chatbot is an artificial intelligence-based interactive system and refers to a system that can provide interaction with humans. Chatbots are being re-examined as chatbots develop into NLP, NLU, and NLG. However, artificial intelligence chatbots can provide biased information based on learned data and cause serious damage such as privacy infringement and cybersecurity concerns, and it is essential to understand artificial intelligence technology and foster AI literacy. With the continued evolution and universalization of artificial intelligence, AI Literacy will also expand its scope and include new areas. This study is meaningful in raising awareness of artificial intelligence technology and proposing the use of human respect technology that is not buried in technology by cultivating human AI literacy capabilities.

  • 본 논문에서는 한국 가요 학습 데이터를 노래 가사 마디 단위로 문자열을 역전시키는 형태로 변형하고 LSTM으로 학습하여, 마디 간의 문맥을 고려해 문자열을 생성하는 방법에 대해 제안한다. 그리고 이를 통해 특정 가요 가사와 유사하면서도 다른 가사를 생성하는 것도 가능하다. 문자열의 우측 끝에 위치하면서 마디 간의 문맥을 연결해 주는 서술어, 접속사와 같은 요소를 활용하기 위해 데이터를 변형하여 적용한다. 제안하는 방식으로 생성한 문자열이 단순히 문자열 데이터를 그대로 학습하여 생성하는 것보다 상대적으로 더 자연스러운 문맥으로 생성되는 것을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문은 기후자료로 제공되는 기상 데이터베이스로부터 사람이 이해할 수 있는 수준의 분석문을 생성하는 시스템에 자연언어 생성 기술을 적용한 연구에 관한 것이다. 기상청에서 제공되는 여러가지 자료들을 이용하여 기상관련 지식을 획득하였으며, 제한된 영역에서 잘 구조화된 템플릿을 정의하고 담화관계를 설정함으로써 관련 기상자료에 대한 해설문을 생성할 수 있었다. 실험 결과, 본 시스템은 비교적 좋은 성능을 나타냄을 알 수 있었다.

A Study on the Size, Composition, and Characteristics of Poor Elders Excluded from the Public Assistance (공공부조 수급에서 제외된 빈곤노인의 현황과 특성)

  • The public assistance scheme plays more important role in income maintenance for poor elders than the public pension does due to insufficient coverage of the public pension resulted from late introduction of it in Korea. However, only limited numbers of poor elders are financially protected by the public assistance contrary to the general perception that the elderly population most benefits from public aids. Based on data set of 2000 from the Korean Labor and Income Panel Study, this study analysed the size, composition and characteristics of poor elders excluded from the public assistance, and determinants of the elderly's participation in it. Findings of the study can be summarized as follows: (1) More than half of poor elders are excluded from the public assistance although their economic status is similar with that of recipients, which may cause income reversal between recipients and non-recipients. (2) It was identified that non-recipient poor elders especially those with same income level of recipients of the National Livelihood Guarantees(NLG) are actually in desperate need of public aids considering their serious financial conditions. (3) Participation in public assistance among the elderly is more affected by socio-demographic factors that reflect family conditions than by economic factors, which is mostly caused by the strict eligibility criteria of the public assistance that reinforces family duty of financial support for elderly relatives in Korea. Policy implications for more effective income security for poor elders include revising inappropriate eligibility criteria of the NLG concerning family obligations, expanding the coverage of the old age allowance for poor elders to near-poor elders, and providing work opportunities to non-recipient poor elders to supplement their income deficit.

Study on the Inclusion Behavior of Sulfobutylether-β-Cyclodextrin with Perphenazine by Flow Injection Chemiluminescence

  • The inclusion behavior of sulfobutylether-${\beta}$-cyclodextrin (SBE-${\beta}$-CD) with perphenazine (PPH) was first studied by flow injection (FI)-chemiluminescence (CL) analysis with proposed $lg[(I_0-I_s)/I_s]=lgK_{P-CD}+nlg[C_{PPH}]$ model and molecular docking. Results showed that a 1:1 complex of SBE-${\beta}$-CD/PPH could online form, with the formation constant $K_{P-CD}$ of $2.57{\times}10^7Lmol^{-1}$ at 298 K. The thermodynamic parameters showed that the inclusion behavior of SBE-${\beta}$-CD/PPH was a spontaneous process by hydrophobic interaction. The molecular docking results revealed PPH entered into the larger cavity of SBE-${\beta}$-CD with two hydrogen bonds. Based on the linear relationship of the decrement of luminol/SBE-${\beta}$-CD/PPH CL intensity against the logarithm of PPH concentration ranging from 0.03 to 30.0 ng $mL^{-1}$, the present FI-CL analysis using luminol/SBE-${\beta}$-CD/PPH system was successfully applied to PPH determination in biological fluids and tablets with recoveries from 94.5 to 105.6% and RSDs less than 2.6% (n = 5).
