긍정심리학과 한의학 (Positive Psychology and Oriental Medicine)

  • Objective: The present study introduced positive psychology and discussed the relation between positive psychology and oriental medicine. Methods: For the introduction of positive psychology the followings were dealt with: 1) review of positive subjective states and positive individual traits; 2) functions of positive subjective states and positive individual traits especially in the domain of health; 3) various interventions of positive psychology. Nextly we discussed the possibility of mutual development of oriental medicine and positive psychology with the meeting of both disciplines. Conclusion: Lastly it was emphasized that both disciplines should have more interests in well-being and health promotion and that we need more systematic scientific investigation for the development and application of positive interventions.

예비유아교사의 긍정심리와 리더십과의 관계 (The Relation between the Positive Psychology of Would-be Child Teachers and Leadership)

  • This research is looking for the relation between the positive psychology of would-be child teachers and leadership and that's influence. The researchers examined positive psychology and leadership with 330 would-be teachers(13 boys, 317 girls) located in Gwang-Ju and the Jeonnam Region. Questionnaire was used to measure would-be teachers. The collected data analyzed the positive psychology of would-be teachers and leaders, including sub-factors for mean(M), standard deviation(SD) and Pearson product-moment correlation according to subject for inquiry. Then regression analysis through SPSS WIN 17.0 for checking the effects of the would-be child teachers's positive psychology with their leadership skill was used. The result of the research was that the positive psychology of would-be child teachers and leadership of the product-moment correlated in all areas. Especially the most influence on positive psychology is the ability of human relationship among leadership sub-variables, and the relation between positive psychology and leadership are very important for making positive changes in society. This implies that there is a need for more educational sponsorship regarding positive psychology and leadership for would-be child teachers.

  • 본 연구에서는 신체-정서-마음-영혼의 전일적이고 통합적인 건강을 지향하는 요가심리학의 궁극적인 목표는 개인의 심층에 존재하는 긍정적 잠재력의 개발에 있음을 강조하면서, 이를 긍정심리학의 맥락에서 새롭게 조명해보았다. 이를 위해 요가심리학이 추구하는 자기실현의 내용을 소개하고, 집중과 몰입이라는 요가의 방법을 통해 개인이 경험하는 기쁨과 엑스타시를 구체적으로 살펴보았다. 또한 행복의 의미를 긍정심리학의 관점에서 기술하고, 집중과 몰입이 깊어졌을 때 도달할 수 있는 의식상태의 변화와 행복의 수준이 어떤 관련이 있는지도 논의하였다. 행복, 지복, 엑스타시는 요가심리학과 긍정심리학의 주된 관심사이기 때문에 서로 일맥상통하는 듯이 보인다. 그러나 요가심리학에서는 긍정적 정서를 넘어서서 무집착, 초연함, 평정심을 가장 가치로운 덕성으로 삼고 있다. 요가심리학적 관점에서 볼 때, 평정심은 고요한 중립의 상태로서 오랫동안의 고된 요가수련의 정점에 위치하고 있다. 이는 긍정심리학이 아직 포섭하고 있지 못한 마음의 심층에 놓인 상태로서 긍정심리학에 중요한 시사점을 제공하고 있다.

긍정심리 및 내외통제성과 양육 스트레스와의 관계 : 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니를 중심으로 (The Relationships between Positive Maternal Psychology, Internal-External Control, and Parenting Stress of Mothers with Young Children)

  • This purpose of this study was to examine the connections between positive maternal psychology, internal control, and parenting stress of mothers with young children. The subjects were 398 mothers living in Buchon city. Collected data were subjected to descriptive statistical analysiss, Pearson’s correlation, and multiple regression analysis. Results showed that employed mothers had higher positive psychology and lower parenting stress than unemployed mothers. In addition, positive maternal psychology, internal-external control, and parenting stress were all related to each other. In particular, positive psychology was the strongest predictor for parental stress.

외식 종사원의 사회지능과 긍정심리자본이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effects of Employees' Social Intelligence and Positive Psychology Capital in Foodservice Industry on Job Satisfaction)

  • The purposes of this study were to understand the influence of social intelligence and positive psychology capital in foodservice employees on job satisfaction and to analyze whether employees' positive psychology capital plays a moderating role between social intelligence and job satisfaction. Based on total 316 samples obtained from empirical research, this study reviewed the reliability and verified a total of 2 hypotheses and 1 proposition using the SPSS program. The results showed that social awareness (${\beta}$=0.546) and social skill (${\beta}$=0.152) in foodservice employees, were indicated to have positive (+) influence upon job satisfaction. And, employees' positive psychology capital (${\beta}$=0.307) had a significant positive (+) effect on the job satisfaction. However, the effect of the employees' social intelligence upon job satisfaction was not found to be moderated by positive psychology capital. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

  • 이 글의 목적은 긍정 임상심리학의 개요를 살펴보는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 긍정 임상심리학의 두 가지 핵심 영역인 멘탈 휘트니스(mental fitness)와 긍정 심리치료의 개념을 살펴본 후 '고대 멘탈 휘트니스 긍정 심리치료 프로그램'을 소개하였다. 그 과정에서 전통적인 심리치료와 긍정 심리치료의 차이를 비교하였고 멘탈 휘트니스라는 개념이 도입되게 된 역사적인 배경 그리고 멘탈 휘트니스와 정신건강 교양(mental health literacy)의 관계를 조사하였다. 이러한 고찰에 기초하여 긍정 임상심리학의 제한점 및 발전가능성이 논의되었다.

긍정심리 프로그램이 간호대학생의 긍정사고, 자아탄력성 및 스트레스 대처에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of a Positive Psychology Program on Nursing Students' Positive Thinking, Ego Resilience and Stress Coping)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine effects of a positive psychology program for improving positive thinking, ego resilience and stress coping of in nursing students. Methods: A non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used. The subjects for the study were 78 students in G city(experimental group=41, control group=37). The positive psychology program was provided for 4 weeks (8 sessions, 16 hours). Positive thinking, ego resilience, and stress coping were measured with using self-report structured questionnaires. This study collected data between November 23, 2014 and January 9, 2015, and which were analyzed using SPSSWIN 20.0. Results: The positive psychology program was effective in increasing positive thinking, ego resilience and stress coping. Conclusions: The results of this study should contribute as baseline data for positive intervention strategies and planning ability of potentials and strengths in nursing students.

정신건강의학과 의사를 대상으로 한 긍정성 증진을 위한 단기 성격 강점 워크숍의 효과 (Effects of Brief Character Strength Workshop for Enhancement of Positivity to Psychiatrists)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of a single-session, positive psychology-based, strength-enhancing workshop for psychiatrists. The program is composed of lecture about positive psychology and workshop activities for identifying and utilizing character strengths. Methods : A total of 42 psychiatrists participated in this study. The program consisted of a lecture about positive psychology and workshop activities for identifying and utilizing character strengths. Results of a positive resources test, given before and after the session, were used to assess changes in the personal positive resources of the participants as a result of the program. Results : We noted significant increases in participants' satisfaction with life, positive affect, gratitude, acceptance, positive and cognitive emotion regulation, orientation of life, growth, spirit, autonomy, social support, and care factors after completion of the program. On additional analysis, spirit and care scores of female participants's were significantly increased than male participants's. Conclusion : The findings are meaningful in verifying the efficacy of a short-term intervention to improve psychiatrists's positive resources.

자활사업참여자의 심리적, 정서적 안녕을 위한 긍정심리프로그램의 효과 (Effects of Positive Psychology Program for Psychological and Affectivity Well-being of Self-Support Participants)

  • 본 연구는 자활사업 참여자의 심리적, 정서적 안녕을 위한 긍정심리프로그램의 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 수도권 지역 B자활센터에서 2018년 5월~6월까지 자활사업 참여자 30명을 모집하여 실험집단과 통제집단으로 나누고, 실험집단은 긍정심리프로그램을 주 1회 총 8회기 동안 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 긍정심리 프로그램이 자활사업 참여자의 심리적 안녕감에 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 긍정심리프로그램이 긍정정서를 향상 시키고 부정정서는 감소시켜 정서적 안녕감에 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 긍정심리프로그램이 정신적 고통을 감소시키는데 도움이 되었다. 넷째, 집단 간 비교에서 심리적 안녕감, 정서적 안녕감에 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 따라서 긍정심리프로그램이 자활사업 참여자에게 심리적, 정서적 안녕에 효과가 있음이 입증 되었다.

The Effect of Positive Psychotherapy(PPT) programs on Participants' Happiness and Resilience

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find a way to improve and overcome the psychological treatment limited to the negative factors dealt with in psychology from a positive psychological point of view. To this end, this study aims to verify whether a positive psychotherapy program can improve happiness, resilience, and post-traumatic growth along with improvement of psychological symptoms such as depression. Research design, data and methodology: To this end, in this study, mean difference analysis was conducted using t-test on 10 participants in the 16th PPT program and 14 in the control group. Also, after setting the main variables, we tried to confirm the effectiveness through simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis of the causal relationship model. Results: As a result of the independent sample t-test and the paired sample t-test, it was confirmed that the group participating in the PPT program had higher flourish, happiness, resilience, post-traumatic growth, and lower depression. In addition, as a result of regression analysis, it was confirmed that post-traumatic growth had a positive effect, and that depression was a life-threatening factor. Conclusions: Since the PPT program has a positive effect on the participants with relatively negative psychological symptoms, it is necessary to expand it. In addition, it is necessary to introduce various preventive programs such as PPT as well as traditional psychological treatment for negative symptoms such as depression.
