Objective : The main purpose of this report is to investigate the effect of Korean traditional medical care about Pruritic Dermatosis Methods : The patient was treated with Acupuncture, herb medicine, Herbal-acupuncture. we evaluated the change of symptom through Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) and photos of the skin Results : After 10 times of treatment, There was remarkable improvement in symptoms of the patient. Conclusion : We confirmed the superiority of Korean traditional medical care about Pruritic Dermatoses. We think that we must research effective remedy through many more case reports.

So far we oriental medical doctors have referred to Shin(腎) as endocrine system, especially suprarenal gland, sexual gland and autonomic nervous system, thyroid etc. as well as kidney. But the sight on thyroid is weak and the relationship with Shin(腎) hasn't been suggested clearly. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between Shin(腎) with thyroid. The following are the results. 1. Ki Gi(氣機) of Shin(腎) is similar to the fuction of thyroid in that they are the base of human metabolism, influencing all the metabolism of human tissue. 2. Shin Yang(腎陽) and thyroid hormone are almost identical in that they are the base of Yang Gi(陽氣), the former as source of heat energy, the latter as energy hormone. 3. Shin(腎) and thyroid hormone are almost the same in that they activate growth of human body. 4. Ki Gi(氣機) of Shin(腎) such as Ju Gol(主骨), Saeng Su(生髓), Tong uh Noi(通於腦) is similar to the effects of thyroid hormone on bones, central nervous system and hair 5. The symptoms of deficiency of Shin Eum(腎陰虛) are almost identical with those of hyperthyroidism, so the process of Yang Hwa Gi(陽化氣) caused by exuberance of Yang due to deficiency of Shin Eum(腎陰虛陽亢) is similar to excessive metabolism caused by hyperthyroidism. 6. The process of Eum Seong Hyung(陰成形) caused by preponderance of Eum due to deficiency of Shin Yang(腎陽虛陰盛) is similar to the lowering of metabolism caused by hypothyroidism. 7. Deficiency of Shin Eum(腎陰虛) is similar to hyperthyroidism, deficiency of Shin Yang(腎陽虛) to hypothyroidism. But there are major difference in edema and the fuction of intestine. To conclude, Ki Gi(氣機) of Shin is similar to the function of throid in many respects. I hope that there will be further studies on the relationship beteen thyroid malfuction with deficiency of Shin Yang(腎陽虛) or of Shin Eum(腎陰虛) in the future.

Objective : This study is designed to find out the effects of Cervus elaphus Herbal acupuncture on osteoarthritis in knee joint. Methods : We investigated 15 cases of patients with osteoarthritis in knee joint that arevisited in hospital of Dong-Shin Korean Traditional Medicine. We evaluated knee joint function that before and after its treatment by Lyshoim score and satisfaction of treatment by Baumgaertner nine point sacle and VAS score. Results : The sex distinction with a disease caused much more female than male at the ratio of 1 to 2.75 in the proportion of male to female. Jobs is mainly ranked with a sitting position jobs and a housewife. Approximately 73.3% of cases before our hospital have ever treated at the other clinics or hospitals. According to Lyshoim score, before treatment is 54.87 and after is 63.29, that showd stisfacally meaningful increase. According to VAS score, before treatment is 10 and after is 44.6. In evaluating of satisfaction, good are 73.2% according to Baumgaertner nine point sacle. Conclusion : According to the results, Cervus elaphus Herbal acupuncture may be effects on the increase of knee joints function and the decrease of pain on osteoarthritis in knee joint.

Objective : The main purpose of this research is to make a survey of the effective way of the Korean traditional medical care about Traffic accidental patients. Methods : In following research, 27 patients of Traffic accident and 33 patients of Non-Traffic accident to be diagnosied as Lumbar spine Sprain who hospitalized in the Dong-shin Korean Traditional Medicine Hospital from January 1, 2003 to November 31, 2003 were surveyed. Result : 1. In distribution of sex and age, the female ratio was higher and twenties was the most distribution of age in Traffic accidental patients, the male ratio was higher and tirties was the most distribution of age in Non-Traffic accidental patients. 2. the number of patients via other hospital was much than that of the first visitor to our hospital in Traffic accidental patients, but the case of Non-Traffic accidental patients was contray results. 3. In medical Treatment, acupunture theraphy(100.0%), negative theraphy(100.0%), moxibustion theraphy(74.07%) et. was used in Traffic accidental patients, acupunture theraphy(100.0%), negative theraphy(100.0%), moxibust ion theraphy(84.84%), herbal acupunture theraphy(54.54%) et. was used in Non-Traffic accidental patients.

A variety of Certification systems are initiated, as increased demands for housing quality of building & house owner. New building and apartment built in Seoul metropolitan should acquire Building Energy Rating System and Housing Performance Grade indication System, Green Building Certification System. Building Energy Rating System could be acquired through the certification from energy performance index of environment grade in Housing Performance Grade Indication. Between Housing Performance Grade Indication and Green Building Certification System, There are troublesome to acquire certification because a lot of assessment items are overlapped. At a result, the rational and efficient certification system should be initiated not only to avoid overlap among those certification systems and promote Green Building market share but also efficient certification system operation. We will discuss on assessment items between Housing Performance Grade Indication System and Green Building Certification System and release the improvement method those Certification Systems to avoid overlapping to assessment items.

This thesis was written in order to help set groundwork of the mutuality between brain hormon and Shin-myung(神明) activity. 1. Shin-myung(神明) means all spritual functions, and Shin(神) represents thinking, myung(明) represents consciounsness. 2. As a origin of Shin-myung(神明) activity, in ancient times Heart(心) was regared as one, but since Chung-Dynasty(淸朝), Brain(腦) is regared as a main controller to manage Shin(神) in human body. 3. Shin-myung(神明) activity would should between Brain(腦) and Shin-Sin(心神) 4. Hormon is chemical substance to serve convey infomations and stimuiate them. In Present day Western medical science, make an attempt to understand Shin-myung(神明) activity of Brain(腦) as a activity of hormon doings. In conculusion, Shin-myung(神明) represent that Brain(腦) inculde Mind-Sprit(精神) activety, and it can be able by the function of brain hormon activety.

This study is being conducted to develope an infill system applied to Mock-Up House of the Korean long life housing. This paper presents result of study and an infill system applied to Mock-up house, commenced in June 2005. We also present the mechanical system and technology, the capability of interface, and other factors.
