Objectives : The quotation of Seongyeong found in the chapter of danjeonyusam in Donguibogam uses a type of allocation of Gi(氣), Sin(神), and Jeong(精) each in Upper, Middle and Lower, three Danjeon, that is different from the type was widely accepted at the time. The paper attempts to interpret this in a new way. Methods : The paper collected the understanding of Jeong-Gi-Sin found in the Korean medicine based on Naedan Theory of Taoism, and tried to approach and structurally analyze the contents of Seongyeong, Ojinpyeonju, and Hwanggeuggyeongseseo found in Donguibogam's danjeonyusam. Results : The control of the body by Gi stored in Upper Danjeon is related to brain function, control of Gi at Lower Danjeon which preserves Jeong in Kidney is related to proliferation of Original Qi from kidney region throughout the body by triple energizers. Sin located at Middle Danjeon is contrasted with Jeong in Lower Danjeon, and Sin controls activity of life in the part between body and Gi. Conclusions : A new understanding on the assignment of Jeong-Gi-Sin in Seongyeong is possible, and it is expected to contribute to the future study of Korean Medicine and Taoism.

The Yi Sun-Sin grand bridge is the suspension bridge which connects Myodo and Gwangyang. It is over the main navigation channel of Gwangyang Harbor. South anchorage(AN1, Myodo side) of the bridge is designed as rock anchored type. It sustains using the resistance of the underground rock's mass in Myodo. As this type of anchorage can minimize the exposure of the structure, It is economically efficient and environmentally friendly. North anchorage (AN2, Gwangyang side) is designed as the gravity type. This anchorage is 68 meters in diameter and use its own weight to support. Instead of normal rectangular diaphragm wall, the circular shape diaphragm wall is adopted to the north anchorage. It doesn't need to use internal temporary facilities, so it can significantly improve the constructability of the structure.

This paper proposes new series and parallel Sin+Cos PSS(power system stabilizer) for the purpose to improve the existing PSS1A's performance. The purpose of PSS is used to enhance damping of power system oscillations through injection of auxiliary signal for an excitation control terminal. The Proposed series and Parallel Sin+Cos PSS is connected adding the Sin+Cos terms additionally with serial and with parallel connection in a conventional PSS1A. The proposed controller is aim to considering of a damping of oscillation when it changes parameter fluctuations or operational load variations in a power system. The object of electric power system is KEPCO system and the voltage of power transmission line is a 154kV and a 345kV. The PSCAD/EMTDC package is used to authorize the effect of the proposed controller. Simulations were shown by and compared with the waveforms for frequency, voltage and electric power.

Purpose: Sjogren's syndrome is a type of autoimmune disease and characterized by the keratoconjunctivitis sicca, xerostomia, dryness of mouth & eyes and rheumatoid arthritis or another connective tissue disease. In the Traditional Korean Medicine, there is few report to diagnose and treat Sjogren's syndrome. Methods: The subject was a typical Sjogren's syndrome in 48-year old women whose complaints were dryness of mouth and eyes, severe general myalgia. The author treated her with acupuncture and herbal medicine therapy, then evaluated with MMQ score, XQS grade and VAS score on a regular basis. Results: After treatment, clinical symptoms were improved, MMQ score and XQS grade were decreased. Conclusion: The Traditional Korean Medical Therapy combined acupuncture with herbal medicine relieves the symptom of Sjogren's syndrome.
