  • The Universal Dependencies 프로젝트는 현재 71개 언어, 122개 Treebank로 이루어져 있으며, 병렬 언어 처리를 위해 여러 언어에 적용할 수 있는 형태적, 구문론적 특성을 찾는 것을 목표로 한다. 본고는 UD의 형태 태그셋인 Universal POS를 살펴보고, 한국어의 기존 형태 태그셋을 UPOS로 자동 변환하여 적용하는 방안을 제안한다. 영어와 같은 굴절어를 중심으로 구축된 UPOS 체계를 교착어에 속하는 한국어에 적용하기 위해서는 UPOS의 개별 표지와 21세기 세종계획 형태 주석 표지 결합체 간의 일대다 사상을 시도해야 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존에 구축되어 있는 구 구조 기반 구문 분석 태그셋을 Universal Dependency 관계 태그 셋으로 변환하는 방안에 대해 논의하였다. 범언어적으로 활용하기 위해 개발된 Universal Dependency의 관계 태그셋을 한국어에 적용할 때에는 범용 POS 태그셋인 UPOS뿐만 아니라 개별 언어의 특성을 반영하고 있는 XPOS를 반드시 참고해야만 한다. 본 연구에서는 Universal Dependency 관계 태그셋을 한국어 구문 분석 태그셋에 대응시키는 과정에서 생기는 문제점들을 '원시 말뭉치 처리 문제'와 '기구축 구문 태그 말뭉치 오류의 문제'로 나누어 지적하고, 이에 대한 해결책을 제시하였다.

Planning and Applying Simulation-based Practice for the Achievement of Program Outcomes in Nursing Students (간호학생의 학습성과 달성과 연계된 시뮬레이션 실습 설계와 운영)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to plan and apply simulation-based practice for raising the achievement of program outcomes (POs) in nursing students. Methods: Using convenience sampling, 95 nursing students participated in this descriptive study. A self-reported questionnaire was used to measure the achievement of POs (self-directed learning, problem-solving ability, critical thinking) and usefulness of curriculum in addition to observing tracheal suction skills using a checklist. Results: A scenario with a pneumonia patient was developed to observe tracheal suction skills during simulation-based practices. Self-directed learning, problem-solving ability, and critical thinking were then scored. The mean scores of performance skill, self-directed learning, problem-solving ability, critical thinking were $37.82{\pm}6.03$. $3.61{\pm}0.38$, $3.61{\pm}0.33$, and $3.73{\pm}0.32$, respectively. All students passed the simulation-based practice in terms of performance ability and met the required achievement level for the POs at this university. Students with good suction skills showed significant differences in problem identification (p=.044) and alternative development (p=.019), which are components of problem-solving ability, compared to students with only fair skills. Conclusion: These findings indicate that simulation-based practice related to an adult nursing respiratory course was useful for evaluating the achievement of POs in nursing students. Further study is needed to develop a universal method of outcome measurement.

On a Design and Implementation Technique of a Universal ATPG for VLSI Circuits (VLSI 회로용 범용 자동 패턴 생성기의 설계 및 구현 기법)

  • In this paper we propose a design and implementation technique of a universal automatic test pattern generator(UATPG) which is well suited for VLSI digital circuits. UATPG is designed to extend the capabilities of the existing APTG and to provide a convenient environment to computer-aided design(CAD) users. We employ heuristic techniques in line justification and fault propagation for functional gates during test pattern generation for a target fault. In addition, the flip-flops associated with design for testability (DFT) are exploited for pseudo PIs and pseudo POs to enhance the testabilities of VLSI circuits. As a result, UATPG shows a good enhancement in convenient usage and performance.

A Case Study on Universal Dependency Tagsets (다국어 범용 의존관계 주석체계(Universal Dependencies) 적용 연구 - 한국어와 일본어의 비교를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this paper was to examine universal dependency UD application cases of Korean and Japanese with similar morphological characteristics. In addition, UD application and improvement methods of Korean were examined through comparative analysis. Korean and Japanese are very well developed due to their agglutinative characteristics. Therefore, there are many difficulties to apply UD which is built around English refraction. We examined the application of UPOS and DEPREL as components of UD with discussions. In UPOS, we looked at category problem related to narrative such as AUX, ADJ, and VERB, We examined how to handle units. In relation to the DEPREL annotation system, we discussed how to reflect syntactic problem from the basic unit annotation of syntax tags. We investigated problems of case and aux arising from the problem of setting dominant position from Korean and Japanese as the dominant language. We also investigated problems of annotation of parallel structure and setting of annotation basic unit. Among various relation annotation tags, case and aux are discussed because they show the most noticeable difference in distribution when comparing annotation tag application patterns with Korean. The case is related to both Korean and Japanese surveys. Aux is a secondary verb in Korean and an auxiliary verb in Japanese. As a result of examining specific annotation patterns, it was found that Japanese aux not only assigned auxiliary clauses, but also auxiliary elements to add the grammatical meaning to the verb and form corresponding to the end of Korean. In UD annotation of Japanese, the basic unit of morphological analysis is defined as a unit of basic syntactic annotation in Japanese UD annotation. Thus, when using information, it is necessary to consider how to use morphological analysis unit as information of dependency annotation in Korean.
