  • The theory of multiple Gamma functions was studied in about 1900 and has, recently, been revived in the study of determinants of Laplacians. There is a class of mathematical constants involved naturally in the multiple Gamma functions. Here we summarize those mathematical constants associated with the Gamma and multiple Gamma functions and will show how they are involved, if possible.

  • Recently the theory of the multiple Gamma functions, which were studied by Barnes and others a century ago, has been revived in the study of determinants of Laplacians. Here we are aiming at evaluating the values of the multiple Gamma functions ${\Gamma}_n(\frac{1}{2})$ in terms of the Hurwitz or Riemann Zeta functions.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concepts of faintly ${\gamma}$-continuity and extremely ${\gamma}$-closed graph. And we study characterizations of such functions and relationships between faintly ${\gamma}$-continuity and extremely ${\gamma}$-closed graph.

  • In [6], the author introduced the concepts of $s\gamma$-open sets and $s\gamma$-continuous functions. In this paper, we introduce the concept of weak $s\gamma$-continuity which is a generalization of $s\gamma$-continuity and weak continuity and investigate characterizations for such functions.

  • Motivated mainly by certain interesting recent extensions of the generalized hypergeometric function [30] and the second Appell function [6], we introduce here the incomplete Lauricella functions ${\gamma}^{(n)}_A$ and ${\Gamma}^{(n)}_A$ of n variables. We then systematically investigate several properties of each of these incomplete Lauricella functions including, for example, their various integral representations, finite summation formulas, transformation and derivative formulas, and so on. We provide relevant connections of some of the special cases of the main results presented here with known identities. Several potential areas of application of the incomplete hypergeometric functions in one and more variables are also pointed out.

  • Motivated mainly by certain interesting recent extensions of the generalized hypergeometric function [Integral Transforms Spec. Funct. 23 (2012), 659-683] and the second Appell function [Appl. Math. Comput. 219 (2013), 8332-8337] by means of the incomplete Pochhammer symbols $({\lambda};{\kappa})_{\nu}$ and $[{\lambda};{\kappa}]_{\nu}$, we introduce here the family of the incomplete generalized ${\tau}$-hypergeometric functions $2{\gamma}_1^{\tau}(z)$ and $2{\Gamma}_1^{\tau}(z)$. The main object of this paper is to study these extensions and investigate their several properties including, for example, their integral representations, derivative formulas, Euler-Beta transform and associated with certain fractional calculus operators. Further, we introduce and investigate the family of incomplete second ${\tau}$-Appell hypergeometric functions ${\Gamma}_2^{{\tau}_1,{\tau}_2}$ and ${\gamma}_2^{{\tau}_1,{\tau}_2}$ of two variables. Relevant connections of certain special cases of the main results presented here with some known identities are also pointed out.

  • A class of functions involving divided differences of the psi and tri-gamma functions and originating from Kershaw's double inequality are proved to be completely monotonic. As applications of these results, the monotonicity and convexity of a function involving the ratio of two gamma functions and originating from the establishment of the best upper and lower bounds in Kershaw's double inequality are derived, two sharp double inequalities involving ratios of double factorials are recovered, the probability integral or error function is estimated, a double inequality for ratio of the volumes of the unit balls in $\mathbb{R}^{n-1}$ and $\mathbb{R}^n$ respectively is deduced, and a symmetrical upper and lower bounds for the gamma function in terms of the psi function is generalized.

  • In this paper, we define new classes $S*({\alpha},{\beta},{\gamma})$ and $C*({\alpha},{\beta},{\gamma})$ of T, the class of analytic and univalent functions with negative coefficients. We have sharp results concerning coefficients, distortion of functions belonging to these classes along with a. representation formular for the function in $S*({\alpha},{\beta},{\gamma})$ and $C*({\alpha},{\beta},{\gamma})$. Furthermore, we improve the results of Libera for the class of starlike functions having negative coefficients.

  • The purpose of the present paper is to study certain radii problems for the function $$f(z)=\[{\frac{z^{1-{\gamma}}}{{\gamma}+{\beta}}}\(z^{\gamma}[D^nF(z)]^{\beta}\)^{\prime}\]^{1/{\beta}}$$, where ${\beta}$ is a positive real number, ${\gamma}$ is a complex number such that ${\gamma}+{\beta}{\neq}0$ and the function F(z) varies various subclasses of analytic functions with fixed second coefficients. Relevant connections of the results presented herewith various well-known results are briefly indicated.

  • The main object of this paper is to investigate several majorization problems involving two subclasses $S_{p,q}(\gamma)$ and $C_{p,q}(\gamma)$ of p-valently starlike and p-valently convex functions of complex order ${\gamma}{\neq}0$ in the open unit disk $\mathbb{u}$. Relevant connections of the results presented here with those given by earlier workers on the subject are also indicated.
