In oriental medicine, Psychotherapy has been regarded as a part of physical therapy that seemed inseparable from psychological therapy from old times. Oriental Medical Psychotherapies are like following: Ii-Gyeung-Byun-Qi therapy(移精變氣療法), Oh- Ji-Sang-Seung therapy(五志相勝療法), Kyeongja- pyeongji therapy(驚者平之療法), Jieongoron therapy(至言高論療法) and so on. The special feature of these Psychotherapies is the unification of body and mind. For them, various oriental therapies have been under progress. Especially, Many Oriental Medical Psychotherapist insisted that pain of mind evoke pain of body, or vice versa. We observed Oriental Medical Psychotherapies to treat married couple and had a good result. Husband had alcoholism and wife had functional headache. Especially, wife wanted divorce. The problems of divorce and illness in married couple were resolved from Oriental Medical Psychotherapies.

Objectives : This Study was prepared for investigating the safety of oriental medicine and continuous intravenous urokinase combined therapy in acute cerebral infarction. Methods : We prospectively estimate safety of hemorrhagic transformation occurred in oriental medical therapy and continuous intravenous urokinase combined therapy. We estimate National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Score and Modified Barthel Index. Results : Hemorrhagic transformation was not noted. and Others are not fatal complication. Conclusions : oriental medical therapy and continuous intravenous urokinase combined therapy are safety method in treatment of acute cerebral infarction. We think this can be a good model of Oriental and western cooperative therapy.

Gastric cancer is common cancer generating about 20% incidence in Korea. But Oriental medical doctor (OMD) often can't measure therapy on gastric cancer positively because that the prognosis on it is not good. It is impossible the results on all of diseases not only gastric cancer always to have to be good. It is required to find out the causes of diseases and therapy method to conquest the diseases for the medical therapy. But because the results on medical therapy are not always good, it is necessary for the doctor who want to treat the diseases like gastric cancer having the prognosis to be death to protect himself, like as the legal system, a medical policy. And consequently, this protecting legal system lead the medical therapy principle or method on some special diseases to therapy completion on it. As a results of policy, medical therapy have to be developed. It is studied the literature referencing gastric cancer, experimental articles to insist the effects of Oriental medicine planet to gastric cancer and the clinical cases on gastric cancer to be treated as Oriental medicine therapy to have effects. Recently, there have been many other development in oriental medical therapy. This development can be grouped as two type. One type is clinical part and the other is experimental research part. Specially the experimental research and clinical research on gastric cancer in oriental medical therapy have been developed. So the present day is the time to make medical policy on liver cancer for OMD to measure oriental medical therapy and develop oriental medical theory. As a above results, we propose that the name of gastric cancer have to use in Korean medicine security clinical name (한방의료보험상병명) to make oriental medical policy.

The purpose of this study is to identify the effect on 5 chronic insomnia patients according to the oriental medical treatment and sleep restriction therapy. These patients were treated with Sa-Am acupunture therapy(瞻正格), Ondam-tang, sleep restriction therapy and evaluated about comfort and improvement after therapy. The result of this research showed that all patients were satisfied with improvement of insomnia subjectively. I considered that chronic insomnia can be improved by oriental medical treatment with sleep restriction therapy and continuous research must be accumulated subsequently.

Objectives : Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD) is a psychiatric disorder, characterized by the primary symptoms of inattention and/or impulsivity and hyperactivity. the aim of this study is to investigate the clinical efficiency of Various Oriental Medical Therapy combinated with Learning therapy in the treatment of ADHD. Methods : This study is a clinical report of 1 ADHD child treated with Various Oriental Medical Therapy(Herb-med, acupunture, etc.) in Combination with Learning therapy. CAR(Conner's abbreviated Rating Scale), K-CBCL, ADS(ADHD Diagnostic System) were compared between before and after treatment. Results : The results show the Various Oriental Medical Therapy in Combination with Learning therapy is efficient in the treatment of ADHD. Conclusions : Various Oriental Medical therapy including herb-med, pharmacopuncture, electroacupuncture is efficient in improvement of ADHD child. also In case of combination with Learning therapy, it is more effective in child's school life and school work. therefore, it is practical useful in the treatment of ADHD.

Objectives: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a psychiatric disorder, characterized by the primary symptoms of inattention and/or hyperactivity and impulsivity. The aim of this study is to investigate the clinical efficiency of the oriental medical therapy combined with art therapy in the treatment of ADHD. Methods: This study is clinical reports of 3 patients with ADHD who are being treated with the oriental medical therapy (Herb-med, acupuncture) and art therapy. K-ARS (Korean ADHD Rating Scale) was compared before and after 1 month of treatment. Results: The Oriental medical therapy including herb-med and acupuncture is effective in improving ADHD patients. Also, art therapy is effective in decreasing patients' anxiety and tension and helpful for patients themselves to make an objective observation. Therefore, it is practically useful in the treatment of ADHD. Conclusions: The results show the oriental medical therapy in combination with art therapy is effective in the treatment of ADHD.

Music is composed according to time flow. In case of music therapy, it is the most important thing and this properties must be emphasized in operation, also act as one of the most important elements that increase the effect of medical treatment. Especially in the case of Oriental Medical music therapy, we must consider the change of time and space, so determine the direction and methods of treatment. In order to compose the music therapy process according to time flow[plot composition], first we have to analyze the musical and literary works that have step-by-step composition. Next we must consider how Gi(氣) changes occur in the base of principle of Eumyang(陰陽) and Ohaeng(五行). When the rule of composition as time flow is grafted onto Oriental Medical music therapy, native characteristics of music would have significance.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to report the effect of Traditional Korean Medical therapy on 3 patients with Oligomenorrhea. who were obese. Methods: The overweight patients who had been suffering from Oligomenorrhea visited to OBGY department of Dongseo Oriental Medical Hospital. We diagnosed their cases as Supdam(濕痰) on the authority of the first oriental medical examination and treated them with Traditional Korean Medical therapy such as herbal medication and acupuncture therapy. The process of symptoms was evaluated by checking their Menstrual periods. Results: After Traditional Korean Medical therapy. Three cases of Oligomenorrhea were improved. Their Menstrual periods were shortened and Menstrual cycles were maintained. Conclusion: This study shows that overweight or obesity is connected with Oligomenorrhea. Traditional Korean Medical therapy can be effective for the management of Oligomenorrhea.

Objective : This study is designed to evaluate the effects of an oriental medical therapy, the Chuna Manual Relaxation Therapy on symptom of Panic disorder. Method : The clinical data was analyzed on a patient with Panic disorder whose main symptoms were palpitation, perpirtion, hydrodipsomania, chest pain, burning sensation. Result : After treatment, the patient's main symptoms were disappeared and secondary symptoms were improved. Conclusion : This study suggests that the Chuna Manual Relaxation Therapy is significantly effective in treatment of Panic disorders.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the clinical application of oriental medical therapy for Insomnia due to Qi and Blood deficiency and insufficiency of Heart. In this case, we treated the patient with insomnia by oriental medical therapy, specially Insamyaogyung-tang(人蔘養榮湯) and Gong-jin-dan(拱辰丹), And we checked patient's sleeping time. In result, at the first time, the patient slept only one hour. After oriental medical therapy, the patient slept over 6 hours, Conclusionally oriental medical therapy, specially Insamyaogyung-tang(人蔘養榮湯) and Gong-jin-dan(拱辰丹) is very helpful for the patient of insomnia due to Qi and Blood deficiency, and insufficiency of Heart.
