Multiple Weakly Summing Multilinear Mappings and Polynomials

  • In this paper, we introduce and study a new class containing absolutely summing multilinear mappings and polynomials, which we call multiple weakly summing multilinear mappings and polynomials. We investigate some interesting properties about multiple weakly ($p$; $q_1$, ${\cdots}$, $q_k$)-summing multilinear mappings and polynomials defined on Banach spaces: In particular, we prove a kind of Dvoretzky-Rogers' Theorem and an ideal property for multiple weakly ($p$; $q_1$, ${\cdots}$, $q_k$)-summing multilinear mappings and polynomials. We also prove that the Aron-Berner extensions of multiple weakly ($p$; $q_1$, ${\cdots}$, $q_k$)-summing multilinear mappings and polynomials are also multiple weakly ($p$; $q_1$, ${\cdots}$, $q_k$)-summing.

효율을 적용한 마리넬리 비이커에서 HPGe 감마선 분광분석법의 동시합성보정 (Coincidence Summing Corrections in HPGe Gamma Ray Spectrometry in Marinelli-beakers with Efficiency)

  • 동시 합성 보정 효과는 검출기의 효율이 향상할 때 그리고 선원과 검출기 사이의 거리가 가까울수록 크게 나타나는 것으로 알려져 있다. 점 선원($^{60}Co$)을 사용하여 검출기 중심축 방향 및 방사상 방향에서 거리에 따른 변화를 주어 P/T 비를 구하여 동시합성 보정을 하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 중심축 및 방사상 방향에서 동시합성 보정한 값들을 혼합부피선원(450 mL CRM source)에 적용하여 P/T에 따른 전체 피크효율 변화를 Geant4과 비교하였다. 또한 검출기와 시료가 아주 밀착된 상태에서 맵핑법에서 구한 효율을 환경시료 중에서 해양 시료인 미역에 적용하여 P/T 비의 적합성을 평가하고자 한다. 500 keV 이상의 효율의 영향을 받는 에너지 영역에 1,836 keV로 보정한 효율을 적용한 결과 측정값과 보정값의 상대오차는 3.2 % peak 효율이 보정되어 잘 일치하였다. 450 mL CRM source처럼 부피가 커질수록 P/T 비는 ${\pm}5%$까지 감소하였다. 이것은 검출기로부터 선원이 멀어짐에 따라 방출된 감마선의 산란이 많아지기 때문이며, 이처럼 P/T 변화는 동시합성 보정 피크 효율에 영향을 줌을 확인하였다.

  • In the paper we introduce averages of each type and use these averages to construct examples of weakly compact operators on the space C ($\Omega$) for which the necessary and sufficient conditions that they be compact, absolutely summing or nuclear are distinct. A great number of concrete examples, in various situations, are given.

  • 단일 핵종의 붕괴시 방출된 두 감마선이 함께 검출기에 흡수될 때 cascade summing이 일어난다. 이 효과는 일부 핵종에서 10% 이상의 계통적 오차를 야기한다. 이들 동시합성 효과를 추산하기 위해 검출기 주위에서 측정한 피크-토탈 비를 사용하여 그 효과를 직접 계산하였다. 검출기 주번에서 주어진 에너지에 대한 피크-토탈 비는 일정하지 않을 수 있으며, 따라서 측정된 값의 평균을 사용하여야 한다 산란 물체에 의한 피크-토달 비의 영향에 대한 결과도 함께 포함되어 있다.

Source and LVis based coincidence summing correction in HPGe gamma-ray spectrometry

  • The activity of gamma-ray emitting nuclides is calculated assuming that each gamma-ray is detected individually; thus, the magnitude of the coincidence summing signal must be considered during activity calculations. Here, the correction factor for the coincidence summing effect was calculated, and the detection efficiencies of two HPGe detectors were compared. The CANBERRA Inc. GC4018 high-purity Ge detector provided an estimate for the peak-to-total ratio using a point source to determine the coincidence summing correction factor. The ORTEC Inc. GEM60 high-purity Ge detector uses EFFTRAN in LVis to obtain the parameters of the detector and source model and the gamma-gamma and gamma-X match estimates, in order to determine the coincidence summing correction factor. Nuclide analyses, radioactivity comparisons, and analyses of reference material samples were performed utilizing certified reference materials to accurately determine the detection efficiencies. For both Co-60 and Y-88, the detection efficiency for a point source increased by an average of at least 12-13%, whereas the detection efficiency determined using LVis increased by an average of at least 13-15%. The calculated radioactivity values of the certified reference material and reference material samples were accurate to within 3% and 6% of the measured values, respectively.

  • We prove that every strong null sequence in a Banach space X lies inside the range of a vector measure of bounded variation if and only if the condition $\mathcal{N}_1(X,{\ell}_1)={\Pi}_1(X,{\ell}_1)$ holds. We also prove that for $1{\leq}p<{\infty}$ every strong ${\ell}_p$ sequence in a Banach space X lies inside the range of an X-valued measure of bounded variation if and only if the identity operator of the dual Banach space $X^*$ is ($p^{\prime}$,1)-summing, where $p^{\prime}$ is the conjugate exponent of $p$. Finally we prove that a Banach space X has the property that any sequence lying in the range of an X-valued measure actually lies in the range of a vector measure of bounded variation if and only if the condition ${\Pi}_1(X,{\ell}_1)={\Pi}_2(X,{\ell}_1)$ holds.

  • This paper deals with the PSS modeling of Ulchin N/P #1 as well as the generator and excitation system modeling by utilizing the recorded data from AVR step test, which has been performed by entering small voltage signal into the AVR summing point. In addition to it. two recorded results obtained from the AVR step test with PSS sunning and without PSS running have not only been compared each other on the time domain, but also they heve been analyzed with FFT analysis on the frequency domain; thus, the desirable effects of running PSS in Ulchin N/P #1 on power system have been explicitly confirmed. Finally, the derived PSS model parameters lead to good matches between simulation results and recorded data.

EXTENDING AND LIFTING OPERATORS ON BANACH SPACES

  • In this article, we show that the nuclear operator defined on Banach space has an extending and lifting operator. Also we give new proofs of the well known facts which were given $Pelcz{\acute{y}}nski$ theorem for complemented subspaces of ${\ell}_1$ and Lewis and Stegall's theorem for complemented subspaces of $L_1({\mu})$.
