  • This study suggests an indoor screen shooting system that can be connected with diverse graphic contents, through developing a gun only for indoor shooting and developing high-speed laser recognition algorithm. The dedicated gun has strong durability and was applied pneumatic solenoid valve control and invisible laser. The aim is to commercialize the indoor screen shooting system by developing a method of interacting with graphic engine through recognizing invisible laser at high speed.

A Study on Design and Interpretation of Pattern Laser Coordinate Tracking Method for Curved Screen Using Multiple Cameras (다중카메라를 이용한 곡면 스크린의 패턴 레이저 좌표 추적 방법 설계와 해석 연구)

  • This paper proposes a method capable of stably tracking the coordinates of a patterned laser image in a curved screen shooting system using two or more channels of multiple cameras. This method can track and acquire target points very effectively when applied to a multi-screen shooting method that can replace the HMD shooting method. Images of curved screens with severe deformation obtained from individual cameras are corrected through image normalization, image binarization, and noise removal. This corrected image is created and applied as an Euclidean space map that is easy to track the firing point based on the matching point. As a result of the experiment, the image coordinates of the pattern laser were stably extracted in the curved screen shooting system, and the error of the target point position of the real-world coordinate position and the broadband Euclidean map was minimized. The reliability of the proposed method was confirmed through the experiment.

  • The Ministry of National Defense decided to build a realistic combat simulation training system based on virtual reality and augmented reality in accordance with the expansion of the scientific training system of "Defense Reform 2.0". The realistic combat simulation training system should be able to maximize the tension and training effect as in actual combat through engagement between trainers. In addition, it should be possible to increase the effectiveness of survival training at the same time as shooting training similar to actual combat through cover training. Previous studies are suitable techniques to improve the shooting precision of the trainee, but it is difficult to practice bilateral engagement like in actual combat, and it is particularly insufficient for combat shooting training using cover. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a S/W algorithm for generating a virtual avatar by recognizing the shooting posture of the opponent on the screen of the virtual shooting trainer. This S/W algorithm can recognize the trainer and the cover based on the depth information acquired through the depth sensor and estimate the trainer's posture.

The Design and An Implementation of Education Shooting Game for kids

  • The definition of educational games, the importance of game development, and the characteristics of educational games are described. The design of the screen used in the game and the algorithm used are described. We explained the game implementation in the system environment and experiment, and the questionnaire showed whether there is nonviolence of the game, games preferred by children, game benefits, and fun elements of the game. The superiority of the game was described by comparing and analyzing the educational shooting game proposed in this paper with the existing game. The existing children's games had many shortcomings in terms of commercial and educational aspects, but the proposed games proved to be less violent and have educational effects.

A Study on the Multi-Laser Image Tracking Method using the Latest Approach Angle (최근접 각도를 이용한 복수 레이저 영상 추적 방법 연구)

  • The paper proposed the method of calculating the latest approach angle that can reliably recognize multiple laser images even with the change in separation distance between screen and laser launch device. This method recognizes the angle of the laser pattern angle by using the distance of the laser pattern angle, and the angle extraction of the laser detects the laser image from the acquired image using the labeling algorithm, and performs the huff conversion to extract the angle of the straight line. The distance of the reference angle and angle of the laser image extracted using Euclidean distance among similarity scales is calculated, and the furnace is recognized using the calculated distance result value. Experiments with changing the separation distance to "200 cm to 400 cm" showed 100% recognition of individual strands at all separation distances. The experiment confirmed the reliability of the proposed method.

  • In this paper, we propose the measurement camera system of flight data of golfball for the application of screen golf contents. The existing flight data extraction system that applied on the screen golf content divided plate is dependent on it. in this paper, the camera system install in the ceiling that is able to look at passing golf ball. And left-handed and left-handed bats in the clear of the restrictions. Using high-speed CCD camera is shooting the ball flying. Acquired image is calculated from the coordinates. The location information of the calculated golf ball calculates a speed and a direction by using the physical formula, it applies the golf contents. After this system is useful sports type contents baseball, soccer, tennis.

  • In this paper, we implemented the surveillance camera system capable of day and night shooting. To this end, it is designed to capture clear images even at night using a CMOS image sensor as well as an IR-LED. In addition, a relatively simple motion detection algorithm was proposed through color model separation. Motions can be detected by extracting only the H channel from the color model, dividing the image into blocks, and then applying the block matching method using the average color value between consecutive frames. When motions are detected during filming, an alarm sounds automatically and a day and night motion detection system is implemented that can capture and save the event screen to a PC.

  • Generally, most people use the photo management method which clusters lots of photos into each folders according to photo shooting time and date. However, since the number of photos to manage is getting more increasing, it takes much time and burdensome work. This paper describes PHOTOLAND, a system that visualizes hundreds of photos on a 2D grid space to help users manage their photos. It closely places similar photos in the grid based on temporal and spatial information. Most photograph management systems use a scrollable view based on a sequential grid layout that arranges the thumbnails of photos in some default order on the screen. Our system decreases drag and drop mouse interaction when they classify their photos into small groups comparing to the sequential grid layout. We conducted experiments to evaluate temporal coherence and space efficiency.
