이 연구는 경남지역 초등학교 도서관의 이용자교육 현황과 이에 대한 전담인력의 인식을 조사한 다음, 학교도서관 이용자교육의 개선방안을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 경남지역 학교도서관 중 전담인력이 배치되어 있는 168개 학교도서관 중 설문조사에 응한 120개관을 연구대상으로 선정하였으며, 89개관이 응답하였다. 이용자교육의 내용과 방법, 이용자교육에 대한 사서교육의 이수 현황, 이용자교육에 대한 전담인력의 이해와 관심도, 이용자교육의 필요성과 효과에 대한 전담인력의 인식, 이용자교육의 방향에 대한 전담인력의 인식 등을 조사내용으로 포함하였다. 조사 결과를 토대로 하여 학교도서관 이용자교육을 개선하기 위한 방안으로 1) 이용자교육을 위한 사서교육 기회의 확대, 2) 학년별 내용과 수준을 다양화한 교육자료의 개발과 보급, 3) 이용자교육을 위한 정규교육 시간의 편성, 4) 이용자교육에 대한 역량 강화를 위한 지속적인 노력 등을 제안하였다.

Virtual Reality (VR) is one of the core components of the fourth industrial revolution as a technology that makes the virtual world feel as if it is real. VR is being used in various fields such as entertainment, advertisement, education, medical care, training, sports, and tourism, as well as providing contents for such things as games and videos. Libraries are already looking for ways to utilize VR from various angles, such as operating experiential programs. The purpose of this thesis is to develop and propose a VR-based library user education program. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, we analyzed previous studies from a theoretical perspective to find a way to construct a user education program, and also to derive possible implications based on examples of countries such as the United States and Korea that are already introducing and applying VR technology to library services. Therefore, the user education program proposed in this study can be used as a basic building block when many libraries want to develop VR-based programs in the future.

본 연구는 사용자 특성 중 조직에서 통제 가능한 요인인 사용자의 태도 및 교육훈련이 정보시스템의 실행 성과에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 최근 신정보시스템으로 전환한 D사의 사용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 사용자 태도와 교육훈련은 각각 독립적으로 정보시스템의 실행 성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사용자 태도와 교육훈련이 결합한 상호작용 효과는 시스템 사용도에는 유의한 효과를 미쳤지만, 사용자 만족도에는 유의한 효과를 미치지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과에 비추어 볼 때, 조직에서 정보시스템의 실행 성과를 높이기 위해서는 사용자 태도를 호의적으로 변화시키고, 사용자에 대한 교육훈련을 많이 시켜야 하며, 특히 사용자에 대한 교육훈련은 차별화하여 실시하여야 한다는 것이다.

이 논문은 서울, 인천, 경기의 초 중 고등학교 학교도서관에서 시행하고 있는 도서관 이용자 교육의 실태를 조사 분석하여 학교도서관 이용자 교육의 효과적인 방안을 제시하였다. 첫째, 학교도서관에는 사서교사가 배치되어야 한다. 둘째, 사서교사는 이용자 교육을 위한 교육내용을 개발하여야 한다. 셋째, 교육과학기술부 및 교육청, 학교장의 행정적 지원이 있어야 한다. 넷째, 교과교육과 같이 정규 시간을 확보하여 이용자 교육을 해야 한다. 효과적인 이용자 교육을 위해서는 사서교사의 배치와 교장 학생 교사 학부모의 관심, 교육 내용 개발, 수업 시간 확보 등이 중요하다고 생각된다.

대학도서관 이용교육 분야는 오랜 기간 동안 매우 관심 있게 다루어져 왔으며, 그 변화의 양상 또한 괄목할 만하다. 특히 최근에는 관련연구의 생산도 증가하고 있다. 이 글은 최근에 생산된 대학도서관 이용교육 분야 연구의 동향을 분석함으로써 관련연구의 경향과 논지의 방향성을 재고하고자 하였다. 관련연구들을 중심으로 대학교육의 본질과 대학도서관 이용교육의 내용과 동향을 분석하였으며, 대학도서관 봉사의 본질로서의 독서효율에 대한 관심이 중요하다는 점을 지적하였다. 또한 대학교육의 비판적 기능, 도서관 이용교육과 독서 및 도서관 이용 문제, 그리고 대학도서관 교육의 정치적 측면에 대한 제안이 결론적으로 제시되었다.

본 연구는 이용자교육의 활성화를 위하여 공공도서관 어린이 이용자교육 교수학습지도안을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 교수학습지도안 개발을 위해 문헌조사를 통하여 초등학교 3, 4학년을 이용자교육 대상으로 선정하고 이용자교육 내용으로 오리엔테이션 교육을 도출하였다. 교수학습지도안에 적용할 학습모형으로 학습자의 자발적이고 주체적인 교육 참여와 교수자의 역할을 구체적으로 설계할 수 있는 Jonassen의 구성주의 학습환경 모형을 선정하였다. 교수학습지도안 개발을 위해 먼저 구성주의 학습환경 모형을 분석하고 이용자교육에 적용하여 이용자교육 학습환경과 교수활동을 설계하였다. 이를 바탕으로 교수학습지도안을 작성하여 유용성과 적합성 평가를 진행하였으며 평가에서 제안된 사항을 반영하여 공공도서관 어린이 이용자교육 교수학습지도안을 개발하였다.

This study was conducted to develop user interface design guidelines for those who design education software products (web sites or CD-ROM titles). To establish this guideline scheme, international standards, commercial design guidelines, and research papers were surveyed. Especially, ISO 9241 was referred as a basic model of a guideline scheme. First, the research group developed draft guidelines. After that, education software developers, designers, and a user group reviewed the draft and the draft was revised with their commentations. Five components were selected as a primary class of guideline scheme: general principle, dialogue design, user guidance, visual interface, and information presentation. Each component was divided several components as a secondary class. Finally, 45 items were selected as user interface design guidelines for the education software design.

교육은 적응적 하이퍼미디어 시스템에서 가장 큰 응용분야이다. 사용자 모형은 적응적 하이퍼미디어 시스템분야에서 매우 중요한 부분이다. 본 논문에서는 학습자의 수준에 따라 다양한 학습 내용을 제공할 수 있도록 신경회로망 기법을 이용하여 사용자 모형을 개발하였다. 개발된 사용자 모형의 성능평가를 위해 웹기본 개념, 멀티미디어, HTML에 관한 내용을 학습하는 하이퍼미디어를 가지고 시뮬레이션 결과 학습자의 수준에 따라 다양한 컨텐츠를 제공함을 알 수 있었다.

본 연구는 대학도서관 이용자교육이 이용자의 학술정보 이용능력을 향상시키는데 기여할 수 있는지를 연구하고자 하였다. 덕성여자대학교에서 인터넷정보활용 과목을 수강하는 39명의 학생을 대상으로 이용자교육을 제공한 전후의 학술정보 이용능력을 평가하였다. 피험자들은 학술정보검색 문제를 성공적으로 해결하는지를 조사하였으며 소요시간, 피험자자신에 대한 정보능력 평가점수를 측정하였다. 이용자교육 후 약8주후에 동일한 실험을 반복하여 교육의 효과가 지속하는지의 여부를 또한 조사하였다. 이용자교육은 피험자의 학술정보검색 능력을 현저하게 향상시켰으며, 소요시간을 단축시켰으며 스스로에 대한 정보능력을 긍정적으로 평가하는데 크게 기여한 것으로 나타났다. 이용자교육은 원문검색이나 색인검색과 같은 고급학술정보이용능력 향상에 특히 효과적인 것으로 조사되었다. 한번 학습한 이용자교육의 효과는 일정한 시간이 지난후에는 다소 정보능력이 떨어지는 경향을 보이기는 했으나 여전히 지속하는 것으로 나타났다.

Introduction. Inadequate methods for acquiring user education could affect the level of library user education possessed by postgraduate students, and ultimately influence the purposes of their usage of e-resources provided in their university libraries. Despite the global acceptance that e-resources are contributing to postgraduate student’s research work, however, it has been documented that there is low use of e-resources in university libraries in Nigeria among postgraduate students. This drift could have negative consequences on their overall development. Therefore, this study determined how influential library user education is on the use of e-resources by postgraduate students in Nigerian university libraries.Methods. A survey research design and multi-stage sampling technique was adopted to select 2,726 from 54,578 postgraduate students from four faculties in 16 federal conventional universities in Nigeria. The data set was collected using a questionnaire and an interview schedule for e-resources librarians/system librarians and was analysed using percentage and Pearson’s product moment correlation.Results. The majority of the students were at the Master’s level (57.5%). The gender shows a ratio of 59.0% male and 41.0% female. Most Nigerian students enrol for postgraduate programmes in their thirties ‘30-39’ years. The use of e-resources by the postgraduates was low (weighted average of 2.45). The relationship between level of library user education and postgraduate students’ use of e-resources was positive, slightly strong, and significant (r = 318; df = 2284; p< .05).Conclusion. User education has positively inclined postgraduate students to the use of e-resources in their libraries. Therefore, libraries should employ all methods for acquiring user education for postgraduate students.
